God Ties The Knot is the 3rd episode of Season 1 and overall the 3rd episode of the Kamisama Kiss anime.
Plot
The Princess of the Lake visits the Shrine to pay respect to the new Land God. Nanami then prepares herself but she was discouraged by Tomoe.
Despite that, Nanami bursts into the room. It turns out that the Princess of the Lake only wants to be together with Kotarou, someone she met 10 years ago. Nanami agrees to tie their fates, regardless of Tomoe's disagreement. They find Kotarou in an ice cream shop and Nanami makes him agree to meet Himemiko.
The next day, they turn Himemiko into a human and she meets up with Kotarou. When he goes to get drinks for them, Himemiko gets taunted by some gangsters. Nanami gives Kotarou a little nudge and he is able to overcome his fear and stop the men.
